On 2 December 1999 an F2 tornado hit Guthrie and did two hundred and seventy-five thousand dollars in property damage. Seven months earlier the record outbreak of 3 May 1999 put tornadoes on the ground at Crescent, Marshall and Mulhall and left no Guthrie entry in the storm database at all. Logan County does not run to anybody's calendar.
